How to replace HD in RAID 5 configuration

Postby eski » February 1st, 2018, 12:01 pm

One of the drives in my 4-bay USB 2.0 Enclosure is flashing red. My four WD 3TB drives are RAID 5 configured. How do I replace it? I don't remember what to do. I set this enclosure up to handle my media files more than five years ago, and haven't had to touch it. Sorry for being such a moron about this stuff, but it's not my jam.

Finally have time to try to address this problem. I'd really appreciate it if someone could help. Here are some added details. There are three lights blinking red: The xH, Rebuild, and the light to the left of HDD #3. Does this mean that it's rebuilding with the old HDD? If so, how long should it take? It's been blinking for 12 hours. Also, I have access to all my files, and all functions work. Not sure about performance rates compared to the past because I'm using a newer computer to access them.
