Uninitialized

Postby rayalamo » August 3rd, 2017, 11:54 pm

Hello!

In disk management the raid 10 4 disk setup is showing up as two unallocated partitions, when it should be showing an almost full drive.

Had a recent reinstall of windows, and not sure if it was at the same time this happened.

How can I problem solve this?

try sliding the drives out and reinsert them. Try different USB cable and USB Port (even USB 2.0 cable (say from a USB printer)
does the Proraid show that it still set to Raid 10? is the Raid 10 LED On the front panel?

which hard drives are you using?

Tried Both changing the USB cord and removing and reconnecting the drives.

No luck.

Yes it does still show raid 10, screen shot attached. All drives are Western Digital.

Turns out all the hard drives have data on them, it might be the device that failed.

Would this current device be able to be recovered?

If I use a new Raid+ would that be able to connect the Raid 10 information together?
