fan shuts off - overheating

Postby joebtfsplks » September 3rd, 2019, 1:17 pm

A few years ago I replaced the noisy stock fan in my HFR2-SU3S2 with a Noctua NF-R8 and it worked very well.
Now it shuts off after an hour or 2 and won't spin up unless I restart the box.
Switching it to manual won't activate the fan once its stopped spinning.
There is nothing wrong with the fan so I'm thinking that the temperature sensors are not functioning correctly.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Any dust build up on the back? if there is compress air spray and clear it.
also run hard disk sentinel and check if all your drives have 100% health
we know if a drive doesn't have 100 % health, it cause problem to the whole enclosure.
