Drive failure

We are using this ProRaid with seagate ironwolf NAS drives that we purchased in august 2018. The drive in position 3 was indicating a failure by the proraid box. DriveDx and apple disk utility wouldn't let me look at the smart data for individual drives but both utilities indicated that there were no errors from the logical drive. I power cycled the proraid and the error for drive 3 returned. Is there anyway to verify the drive issue to better inform seagate when I make the warranty claim?
