Proper Way to Configure

Postby tshrtkng@gmail.com » September 16th, 2017, 10:40 am

I attached my 8bay ProBox to my iMac.

I would like to know the proper way to set the SYNC.

I hardly ever turn my computer off, it just goes to sleep when I'm not using it. I would like the drives to do the same.

In Blue mode on wake up I notice all the drives have been ejected and I have a ERROR Message for each drive stating it was not disconnected properly.

In Orange mode the unit seems to stay on. I can hear the fans still running, so I don't believe its going to sleep.

the "Orange" LED is the power sync setting you want
it should go to sleep when your computer does.

And power sync works by detecting the power on your computer, If your computer went to sleep
but the USB port still has power then it will not go to sleep

So the USB port on your computer must support power-off function so that the device will to sleep mode.
