Where did all the support go?

I bought one of these a while back. When installing there were loads of support topics to help a rather unhelpful manual. One of my drives has finally failed. The manual doesn't tell you anything about what to do. Both access lights blink and the HDD2 error light is on and don't turn off until I disconnect from the computer, even after unmounting. I switched to single (from raid 1) and both drives seem to be fine. So what's the error? When disconnecting in single mode, the HDD2 error light blinks right after pulling the usb cable, but that's the only time.

Any help?

if you are using windows
get Hard disk sentinel (there is a free trial)
check the SMART info and health % on your drives.
see if any Errors.
