Again requesting Firmware update- Date Glitch.

I started a previous thread about 15 months ago, No answers from the mediator.
I have it exclusively set to be Off the Air, digital broadcasts- It is obviously a gross Firmware bug.
I requested firmware update for my box as it does not keep track of the dates & changed it's internal time when the Month changes, only when it has less than 31 days, especially February.
See photo. When the date does change, it is usually takes several days when the time sync's up, but when it is not correct, it will record programs pre- scheduled.
I turn it on every day so, it has an opportunity to sync on a date when it is incorrect.
Note the day- There was no Feb 29th this year ( at least in this Universe)
The Manufacturer should be supporting this is to correct it.

Good luck with that. I have two of these, a HW180STB-Y18 and a HW180STB.
The former doesn't seem to have the date issue. The latter still thinks it's April 1st.
I no longer care about the date, because I no longer even bother with scheduled recording. It works so rarely, that rather than drive myself insane with frustration, I do all my recording manually. This is true of both the HW180STB-Y18 and the HW180STB. Both are IMHO pieces of junk.
I'll say no more, because there's no point in insulting the moderators.
